Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Prep the Water Bottle
Start by sanding the surface of your stainless steel water bottle to remove any logos or textures. Wipe it clean with alcohol before applying a base coat of acrylic paint that matches your rhinestones.
Step 2: Apply the Vinyl Name
Cut out a vinyl name using a Cricut or Silhouette machine and apply it to the bottle. This acts as a guide for placing your rhinestones.
Step 3: Apply Rhinestones Using the Honeycomb Method
Using GemTac Glue, start by outlining the vinyl name with Crystal AB rhinestones. Then, work your way down using Light Amethyst AB rhinestones in a honeycomb pattern.
Step 4: Fill in Small Gaps
If you have small gaps between stones, use smaller rhinestones or carefully sand down larger ones for a perfect fit.
Step 5: Let It Cure
Allow the tumbler to dry for at least 7 days before washing. For the best sparkle, check out this video on how to properly clean rhinestone tumblers.
