Step-by-Step Guide to Using the Cricut EasyPress 2

Step 1: Prepping Your Shirt

  • Wash and dry your t-shirt (without fabric softener) to prevent shrinkage.
  • Preheat your EasyPress and set it according to the Cricut Heat Guide.
  • Place a heat press mat or towel inside the shirt to create a flat pressing surface.

Step 2: Cutting and Weeding HTV

  • Upload your design to Cricut Design Space.
  • Make sure to mirror your design before cutting.
  • Cut your Siser Easyweed HTV with the shiny side down on the mat.
  • Weed the excess vinyl using a weeding tool.

Step 3: Pressing Your Design

  • Align your design on the t-shirt.
  • Press the EasyPress down with medium pressure.
  • After the timer beeps, remove the press and peel the carrier sheet according to HTV instructions (hot or cold peel).
